Coral Reef
Simple Schooling Coral Reef is the perfect way to introduce invertebrates to middle elementary age students. In this unit study students will learn what exactly a coral is, how they differ from plants, their structural anatomy, and how a coral reef forms. They will also learn specific examples of both hard and soft corals. Students will complete 5 vocabulary exercises, three identification exercises, and a final game that tests their ability to recognize related concepts. A certificate of completion is also included.
