Final Report: Students should choose one mammal they would like to learn more about and research the questions listed on the report form.

1. If your city has a Zoo – go spend the day there. Take the zoo chart (in workbook) along with you and fill it out as you look at each type of mammal. If you don’t have a zoo – look up each of the 4 types of animals below and fill in the information using the internet.

2. Make a diorama of your animal in its natural habitat. See the example in the resource page.

3. Complete the mammal lapbooks in the optional Project Pack. Try to include several interesting and scientific facts like:

Where it lives
What it eats
How it develops
What kind of defense it uses to protect itself
How long it can be expected to live
The scientific name and what order it belongs to
One more interesting thing about this mammal

4. Make a diorama of your animal in its natural habitat. See the example in the resource page.
