Carbohydrates

 

Simple Schooling Carbohydrates is the second in a series on macromolecules in biochemistry and should be completed after Amino Acids.  In Carbohydrates, students will learn about the structure and function of sugars, will be able to identify the molecules, and will understand glycosidic linkages in disaccharides and polysaccharides.  This unit contains 45 vocabulary words, two functional group identification exercises, and a final game to test comprehension.
