Lipids

 

Simple Schooling Lipids is the last unit study on the four basic macromolecules involved in biochemistry in the body.  Students should have completed proteins, Carbohydrates, and Nucleic Acids before finishing up with Lipids.  In this unit students will learn about the structure and function of lipids including how they perform as energy sources and as structural components of the cell membrane.   There are 35 vocabulary words to learn and a final test that will challenge their comprehension.
