Matter

Simple Schooling Matter & the Phases of Matter will continue your student's study of physical science. The first part of the unit concentrates on defining matter and properties of matter, while the second half covers each state of matter individually.  Students will learn about plasma, gases, liquids, and solids.  Before they are finished they'll understand the molecular structure of each state and be ready to learn the changing states of matter in another unit.

This unit study has 4 vocabulary exercises, several drag and drop identification exercises, a Jeopardy style quiz, and a special introduction into more advanced states of matter that are not typically discussed until much later in higher education.  A certificate of completion at the end will provide a record for portfolios.
