Water Cycle
The water cycle is a true miracle of nature. Without this endless process of renewal all living organisms on Earth would cease to exist. This unit explores the natural phenomena of precipitation, percolation, evaporation, and condensation. A perfect lead in to study all aspects of Earth Science. Do before or after clouds and the weather units studies in the K-6 area - or add this little gem to your older child's schedule before they take on Thunderstorms, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, and Ecology. My 7th grader did it and loved it so that illustrates just how flexible these units are.
