Electricity Magnetism

The Simple Schooling Electricity and Magnetism unit study will really capture your student's imagination in these two high interest topics.  The study starts out with an introduction to the atom and the all important electron.  Then continues to explain how the electrons move through the conductor to create an electrical current.  The basics of batteries, both inside and out, are explained, and circuits are covered in depth.  The magnetism section explains the poles on magnets, the magnetic field lines, and magnetic fields.  Planetary and solar magnetic fields are also touched upon.

Online activities include 3 vocabulary sections, a matching game, a rapid fire quiz game, two flip the book interactive lectures on famous scientists in the field of electricity and how electricity is generated, a jeopardy style game show, a final test, and a certificate of completion.
