The Simple Schooling Proteins and Amino Acids unit study is the first is a series of units about basic biochemistry used in high school biology courses. This unit describes what a protein is, how one is made, the structural backbone, the 20 amino acids used in the genetic code and how to recognize them, and protein folding and structure.
