Planet Mercury
Planet Mercury is the second unit in a 10 part series on the Solar System. In this unit students will pick where they left off with the Sun. They learn the ancient history behind the mysterious planet Mercury, all the different names it went by, early observations, modern observations and NASA missions. Additionally, they’ll unlock the secrets of the core and the geological surface of the tiny planet and discover a few very unique and interesting facts about Mercury along the way.
Before your students begin this unit study please have them complete the unit on The Sun first.
