The Science of horses is more than a unit study - it is a 15 unit course that covers both history and science.  Part one includes the history of horses around the world, how they were brought to America, how American breeds were developed and how the work horse was used to build the New World.  In addition - this section includes a primer on coat colors and markings as well as external and internal anatomy.  Although this unit is in the 6-12 grade range, any horse lover that cares to listen will be able to learn about the horse through the interactive units.
